    • Buriram Castle Mall

      Local handicrafts and Buriram United football merchandise are some of the unique souvenirs you can shop for at this mall, which also offers a variety of dining options, from franchise restaurants to street food. It has a park, the 12 Shiva Garden, a green space planted with orchids and rare plants, and Kamasutra-inspired stone carvings which represent the birth of the universe. Next to the park is a replica of Phanom Rung, the province’s famed ancient Khmer temple.

    • Buriram Monster Fishing Park

      Tackle and bait are supplied and you can try your luck at catching arapaima, Amazon redtail catfish, Siamese giant carp, Mekong giant catfish, emerald green catfish and lots more.     • Chang International Circuit

      The motorsport track, opened in 2014, has been designed to meet FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A standards. It regularly hosts car and motorcycle races, such as the Japanese Super GT and World Superbike.

    • Chang Arena

      It is the largest club-owned football stadium in Thailand, home of football champions Buriram United. Opened in 2011, the FIFA-standard stadium has a capacity of 32,600 and hosts domestic and international matches. It is a popular destination for visitors, even when there are no matches.

    • Huai Talat Reservoir and Buriram Bird Park

      The wildlife reservation is home to more than 100 species of local and migratory birds, which nest here during the dry season from November to April. Open from 9am to 5pm daily.

    • Khao Kradong Reservoir

      From the entrance to Khao Kradong, a junction on the left leads to the Bunyanusat boy scout camp and a zoo. The reservoir offers a magnificent view of the Phra Suphattharabophit Buddha image on top of the forest park.

    • Khao Kradong Forest Park

      This extinct volcano is now a recreational spot. Buddha statues line the 297 steps to the top, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding forest. It is home to Phra Suphattharabophit, a large Buddha image that is the symbol of Buriram.

    • Wat Khao Angkhan

      This temple compound is a mix of architectural styles from different periods, and blends the old and new – ancient sandstone boundary markers dating back to the 9th century surround modern edifices built in the Khmer style and a Chinese-style pagoda.

    • Phanom Rung Historical Park

      The Hindu/Khmer temple complex is perched on top of a dormant volcano and was built between the 10th and 13th century. The buildings and structures dotted around the sanctuary have been painstakingly restored, and are fine examples of Khmer architecture, featuring carvings of deities and floral and foliage motifs. Open daily from 6am to 6pm.

    • The Monument of King Rama I

      The bronze monument was built in 1996 to honour King Rama I, who founded Buriram. It features the king in traditional warrior garb, riding an elephant.
